Enrollment

Nearly 30,000 students were enrolled at San José State in 2007. That’s 10 percent more than the number of students who were enrolled 10 years earlier (about 25% in 20 years). Not only are there more students swelling the college rolls, but the population also looks markedly different than a generation ago. Understanding these shifts is essential to appreciating the nuances of access and attainment.
